What a day this has been! What a rare mood I’m in! Why, it’s almost like being in love!
Saturday morning dawned, the grey/white light seeps in through my curtains a sign of the rainy day that’s outside my window. I snuggle down a little farther into my bed, the warmness filling me up – body and soul. The weekends – the joy of not having much of anything on your schedule. I hop out of bed, sink my toes into the plush slippers and smile – I was going shopping.

I know, it’s such a cliche thing to find joy in. But, I really do, I find joy in looking at the untouched (for the most part) clothes, feeling the fabric underneath my fingertips, trying on hats, imagining how I’ll style what is in my hands. And most importantly, finding steals on the clearance rack. Now, surprisingly enough, I found nothing to buy on Saturday, but I did manage to get a smoothie and I did enjoy myself. Anyways, though. All poetic-ness out of my system, here’s my outfit from Saturday. 🙂
